I love summer! The warm long days, sunshine, and being outdoors – Heaven! Beating the heat, in my opinion, is far easier than beating the cold. I just love all the possibilities I have to tackle a hot day, especially when I can resort to my garden!
These dill mint cubes are perfect to beat the heat in summer. I make them for my family on hot days to recharge them.
Ingredients
- Water (2 cups)
- Fresh, chopped dill leaves (2 tablespoons)
- Chopped mint (2 tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
Method
- Mix water and lemon juice and fill the ice cube tray with it.
- Set the chopped mint and dill leaves in each section of ice cube tray and freeze it (overnight or until frozen)
- Serve with cocktails, juices, and other beverages.
I can imagine you now, sipping your drink, by the pool, or on the porch. Happy summer!
